Specific method steps for disinfection pipeline system

1. Chemical disinfection:

Commonly used are formaldehyde (35-40% formaldehyde solution), hydrogen peroxide, sodium hypochlorite, etc. Among them, hydrogen peroxide is used more, the concentration is 3%, and the disinfection time is more than 0.5 hours. Note: If the enterprise adopts the chemical disinfection method, the washing method of the residual chemical disinfectant after disinfection should be specified.

2. Ozone disinfection:

Currently the best method for continuous removal of bacteria and viruses in purified water systems, but requires the installation of UV lamps before the point of use. It is suitable for disinfection of purified water pipelines.

3. Ultraviolet disinfection:

Ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 200nm to 300nm have strong sterilization ability, and the light at 253.7nm has the best effect. The closer the installation position is to the point of use, the better, and then install a sterilization filter. It can be used in conjunction with thermal disinfection or chemical disinfection, which is beneficial to the degradation of hydrogen peroxide and ozone. Note: The light intensity of UV lamp sterilization decays with time. There should be a light intensity detection or time recorder for regular cleaning or replacement of UV light. light tube.

4, Pasteur disinfection (thermal disinfection):

Purified water system is used, which is rare. Generally, keep the temperature of 60~80℃ in the piping system for 30~60 minutes. Suitable for activated carbon filters, softeners and storage circulation lines.

5. Steam sterilization:

It is more common in enterprises that prepare water for injection. The water-for-injection piping system should be able to be sterilized with pure steam (eg 121°C, 0.2 MPa). Storage tanks/pipes must have sterilization and disinfection interfaces. If steam sterilization is used, sufficient steam traps should be installed.
